Role Overview

We need a short-form video editor who is obsessed with what makes people stop scrolling. You will edit long-form content into punchy, high-retention clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Experience with skull edits, viral audio trends, and clipping formats is a strong advantage. Slack communication only — no calls required.

Responsibilities

  • Edit 2-4 short-form clips per day per client to professional platform-native quality
  • Execute strong hooks in the first 1-3 seconds that stop the scroll
  • Add captions, on-screen text, B-roll, zooms, and sound design
  • Edit in Hormozi-style, podcast clip formats, and skull edit styles
  • Select and sync trending viral audio where appropriate
  • Follow creative briefs from the Fulfilment Lead exactly — no missed instructions
  • Deliver finished edits within 24 hours of receiving raw footage

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year professional short-form video editing experience
  • Portfolio of TikTok, Reels, or Shorts edits — links or examples required before interview
  • Expert with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Understanding of viral audio trends and hook psychology
  • Deliver edits within your working hours same day — every time, not occasionally

Nice To Have

  • Experience with skull edits, hype edits, or clipping formats
  • Understanding of what content formats perform best per platform
  • Experience editing for agencies, creators, or clipping networks
